Overview
Some reverbs fill space. Ascent transforms it.
Ascent pairs a deep, natural hall reverb with a granular pitch-shifting particle engine — two reverbs, one interface, built to work together. The result is a sound that moves: from grounded, room-filling depth to shimmering, pitch-shifted atmospheres that evolve over time. Blend them freely, dial in the built-in ducking compressor to keep your mix from drowning, and go from subtle space to full cinematic wash without ever touching a second plugin.
Designed for producers, composers, and sound designers who want quality results without hardware prices.
Features
-
Dual reverb engine — Hall reverb and particle reverb run simultaneously, with independent level control so you can blend from pure room to pure shimmer or anywhere between.
-
Granular particle engine — Pitch transposition from -12 to +12 semitones with dual overlapping grains eliminates the metallic artifacts common in lesser shimmer reverbs.
-
Expanse control — Three tuned room modes (Small, Medium, Large) shape the delay network and spatial character of the hall reverb, not just the decay time.
-
Built-in dynamic ducking — Reverb tails pull back on transients automatically, keeping your dry signal present without constant fader riding.
-
Universal preset system — XML-based presets work across all plugin formats (VST3, AU, AAX) and operating systems. No hunting for preset folders.
