About Audio Damage

Dr. Device, our whacky modulated filter/delay. 2007 - 2016 RIP
Audio Damage is an independent audio software company founded in 2002 by Chris Randall and Adam Schabtach. Based in Boulder, Colorado, with an office in Bellows Falls, Vermont, our company has spent over two decades building synthesizers, effects, and creative tools for music producers, sound designers, and electronic musicians. Audio Damage products are used by artists, composers, and producers worldwide, from bedroom studios to stadium tours to professional scoring stages.
Our company's philosophy centers on tools that inspire creativity rather than emulating existing hardware. While some Audio Damage plugins draw on classic concepts like bucket-brigade delays, algorithmic reverbs, granular synthesis, each one is designed to push those ideas in unexpected directions. The result is a catalog of instruments and effects that have a distinct character, recognizable across genres from ambient and experimental music to techno, film scoring, and game audio.
Audio Damage plugins are available in VST3, AU, AAX, and CLAP formats for macOS, Windows, and Linux (where appropriate, of course), with AUv3 versions for iPhone and iPad. We use no copy protection of any kind; customers are free to install their purchases on as many machines as they own. This approach reflects our longstanding belief that DRM punishes paying customers more than it deters piracy.
In addition to our commercial products, Audio Damage maintains a library of free plugins and we have released our entire back catalog of discontinued products at no cost. We run support through our Discord server and by email, and we have an active community of users sharing presets, tips, and music.
NO DONGLES, NO DRM, NO SUBSCRIPTIONS.
Not now, not ever.
